Lynn is President and owner of Gulf Benefit Consultants, Inc. He has nearly thirty years experience as an actuary and benefit consultant, including experience with large regional and international consulting firms.

His particular area of expertise is retirement plan consulting for larger corporate clients, involving defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, and retiree healthcare plans. His consulting and actuarial work includes plan design, actuarial valuations, financial disclosures, annual reporting, compliance testing, plan amendments, benefit calculations, individual benefit statements, cost estimates, contract negotiations, and corporate acquisitions and divestitures.

Lynn has worked on peer review projects for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation and has had extensive experience in developing actuarial software and systems. He has spoken before professional and business groups on various retirement topics and has provided expert witness testimony relating to Qualified Domestic Relations Orders.

Lynn received a B.A. in Mathematics from Pennsylvania State University. He is an enrolled actuary, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. He is also a member of the Association of Employee Benefit Planners of New Orleans in which he has served on the Board of Directors and as president.
